You're probably here because you're curious to know a little more about me. Whatever brought you here, I hope this website gives you a better understanding of the person behind the name.

Over the years, I've come to realise that my role has rarely been defined by a job title. More often than not, I've found myself connecting people with different backgrounds, perspectives and areas of expertise. Whether working with technical specialists, management or end users, I enjoy helping people understand one another and working together towards a common goal.

Information Technology has been part of my professional life for more than thirty years, but I've never considered it the destination. To me, IT is valuable when it helps people solve problems, simplifies everyday life and creates opportunities that didn't exist before. While I enjoy exploring new technologies, what motivates me most is finding practical ways to make them meaningful and enabling people to benefit from them.

That often means acting as a bridge. A key contribution of mine is helping different people understand each other. Technical experts, business stakeholders and users don't always speak the same language, even when they're discussing the same problem. I enjoy translating between those perspectives until everyone shares the same understanding and can move forward together.

Throughout my career, I've learned that successful projects are built on far more than technical knowledge alone. Trust, clear communication and a genuine willingness to listen are just as important as experience or expertise. Those principles have shaped the way I lead, collaborate and continue to learn.

Although my work has shaped a large part of who I am, it certainly doesn't define me entirely. The same curiosity that has guided me professionally also follows me long after the working day has ended. It's one of the reasons I enjoy exploring new places, experimenting with technology and taking on projects simply for the satisfaction of learning something new. Those interests have taught me just as much about patience, perspective and continuous learning as any professional role ever has.

This website isn't intended to replace a CV. Instead, it adds the context that a CV rarely has room for. Here you'll find an overview of my professional journey, a glimpse into the interests that inspire me outside of work and, from time to time, a collection of thoughts that I believe are worth sharing.

If you decide to explore a little further, I'm confident you'll leave with a better understanding of not only what I've done, but also how I approach the people, projects and opportunities I've been fortunate enough to be a part of.

I'm glad you stopped by.
